Monroe-West Monroe is the proud home of the Robertsons, America’s favorite bearded family and stars of A&E’s hit show Duck Dynasty. From a love of duck hunting, Phil Robertson built the foundation for what is now a multi-million dollar and internationally known brand, Duck Commander. The latter is mostly due to the entrepreneurial spirit of Willie Robertson, Phil’s son and CEO of the company.
Along with Willie and Phil, Jase, Jep, Uncle Si, Miss Kay, Martin, Godwin, Korie, Missy, Jessica and the rest of the gang have become an international phenomenon. But that doesn’t go their heads. Living life the Robertson way can be summed up in three words…”Faith, Family, and Ducks.” And it’s this mantra that helps the family remain the same down-to-earth folks they have always been.

Easy and Delicious Biscuits
Ingredients
4 cups Pioneer biscuit mix
2 cups of sour cream
1 can of 7up or Sprite
Instructions
Put the Biscuit mix and sour cream in a bowl and mix well. Add 7up or sprite a little at a time until a ball is formed (you won’t need the whole can). Put some Biscuit mix on the counter and roll out mixture the size of your pan (Miss Kay uses her small iron skillets). Melt ½ stick of butter in the pan. Use the closest thing that is round (glass jar) to cut the biscuits out. Dip both sides of the biscuit in the butter then place them into the pan close together. Cook at 375 degrees for 20 minutes, until golden brown.
